Overview

This test problem is a 10m long simply supported beam and a vehicle defined such that its length is slightly shorter than the length of the beam. The vehicle has 3 axles, with a large load for interior axle and very small loads for the exterior axles. Thus, if the vehicle remains in the lane, the reactions and end shears should be approximately half of the large load, but they are not - they are almost the full large load applied at the interior axle.
