LSHOST is an environment variable that is used to specify location of the license servers. Unlike for LSFORCEHOST which forces the program to look for license on a single server only, multiple license servers can be specified when using LSHOST.

The following notation should be used to separate different servers:

Separate license server host names with a tilde ( ~ ). However, please note that a colon ( : ) was used to separate server host names up to Sentinel RMS License Manager version 8.2.x.

Example:

SET LSHOST=ACCT_SERVER~FINANCE_SRV
