FAQ

The program utilizes edge or line constraints to connect different meshes. What is the advantage of this approach over using mesh generators?

Mesh generators tend to create distorted elements, which reduce the accuracy of the solution, or require a more refined mesh to get a certain level of accuracy. Line constraints allow the use of a minimum number of undistorted elements, hence are efficient and accurate.

I am meshing shell elements, but I am getting an error message that the meshing failed. How can I prevent this?

Try using different mesh sizes or dividing the original region into more regular shapes (corners not close to zero or 180 degrees, not huge differences in the length of sides) often helps.
