The *Sentinel RMS License Manager* may be installed on one or more computers to establish and coordinate a network such that multiple computers may share {new-tab-link:http://www.csiberkeley.com/}CSI{new-tab-link} Software [licenses|kb:Licensing]. The license server has access to license codes. When a networked computer opens and runs a shared software, it obtains a license from the license server, which then coordinates sharing within the network.

The Sentinel RMS License Manager will [install|kb:Installation] in the following location:

* C:\Program Files\Common Files\SafeNet Sentinel\Sentinel RMS License Manager


h1. Sentinel RMS License Manager 8.5

The latest version of the Sentinel RMS License Manager is 8.5. This version, available for {new-tab-link:ftp://ftp.csiberkeley.com/pubdocs/Sentinel RMS License Manager 8.5.0/}download{new-tab-link}, can serve all networked {new-tab-link:http://www.csiberkeley.com/}CSI{new-tab-link} Software licenses except those generated using RMS version 7.2. Sentinel RMS 8.5, and the associated [Utilities|kb:Sentinel RMS 8.5 Utilities], are required for networking CSiXRevit 2013 licenses.

To establish a virtual server, network licenses should be generated using Sentinel RMS 8.5.
