The Sentinel RMS License Manager may be installed on one or more computers to establish and coordinate a *computer network* which enables multiple computers to *share* a {new-tab-link:http://www.csiberkeley.com/}CSI{new-tab-link} Software *license*. The [license|kb:Licensing] server has access to license codes. When a networked computer starts a software, it obtains a license from the license server which coordinates sharing within the network.
Operating systems supported for license serving include:
* Windows XP
* Windows 2003
* Windows 2008
* Windows Vista
* Windows 7
Further,
* 32-bit operating systems should use the Sentinel RMS License Manager v.8.0.5 or higher
* 64-bit operating systems should use v.8.3.0 or higher

CSi program can be licensed to run on multiple computers so that several computers can share it. In this case a computer network is required so that all computers that are authorized to run the software are connected. A special program, the Sentinel RMS License Manager, must be installed onto one or more computers in the network to coordinate the use of the CSi program. The license server has access to the license codes for the program. When a program starts, it communicates with the license server to obtain a license.
The following operating systems/license servers are supported for CSi products:
- Windows XP
- Windows 2003
- Windows 2008
- Windows Vista
- Windows 7
Sentinel RMS License Manager v8.0.5 or higher can be used on 32-bit operating systems. For 64-bit operating systems, download Sentinel RMS Manager 8.3.0 or higher version.
