We are in the process of phasing out OpenGL graphics in SAP2000 and replacing it with DirectX graphics for the next version of the program. Given that, fixing issues with OpenGL graphics in the current version of SAP2000 is being given a low priority to avoid duplication of development work. The implementation of OpenGL graphics, in its current state, has some bugs that have not been (and will not be) addressed. One error that users may encounter frequently is “Overflow Error” when a model, saved when in OpenGL mode, is opened. To resolve this error, the user can edit the SAP2000v14.ini file to change the "GraphicsMode" parameter from "OPenGL" to "GDIPlus". The ini file is present in the user settings folder. Depending upon what OS the user has, the user settings folder is:
