Vibration may be studied either for an entire floor system or for local systems and isolated structural memebers by unchecking the Include Lateral Mass Only option through Define > Mass Source. Out-of-plane vibration modes may then be generated, and structural performance may be correlated with available publications or design guidelines. For composite beams, an option for automated AISC beam vibration analysis is available through the AISC composite-design post processor.
