The time function used to apply wheel loads in step-by-step time history moving load analysis is described in CSI Analysis Reference Manual, Chapter "Moving-Load Analysis", Section "Step-By-Step Analysis > Time-History Analysis" and schematically shown in the PDF file attached to this page.
When solving the step-by-step moving load analysis in a time history load case, the program does not use the time history function specified in the time history load case definition. Instead it uses internal triangular time function to apply the vehicle wheel loads for each vehicle location.
