Overview
The zipped attached file contains the following 3 PowerPoint files with the examples of 2-span PCC girder bridge with three different foundation types:
- Example2-Two-Equal-Spans-Option1-Final.ppt - Bent columns supported by "fixed" column base
- Example2-Two-Equal-Spans-Option2-Final.ppt - Replace "fixed" column base with pile/cap foundation, extending column to solid-element grid at mid-depth of pile cap.
- Example2-Two-Equal-Spans-Option3-Final.ppt - Pile/cap foundation, with bent column extending only to top of pile cap, with "Joint Constraint" (in place of "Weld" ) connecting base of column to solid-element grid at mid-depth of pile cap.
