Cross-section analysis and design utility
Section Designer is an integrated utility within SAP2000 and ETABS used to model, analyze, and design cross sections of customized geometry and material properties. Sections may be of reinforced-concrete, steel, or a composite definition. Reinforcement may include any combination of longitudinal rebar, transverse steel, and tendon objects. The section properties and nonlinear relationships that are generated using Section Designer are then applied to frame objects within SAP2000 and ETABS.
